Raspberry Beret invites local non-profit organizations to open consignment accounts in our shops that anyone, including the public, can consign under. We offer a 50/50 split for non-profits and it's an incredibly simple, no-risk fundraiser.
No appointment is necessary when you're dropping off consignment items to benefit a non-profit but here are a few things to remember:
You may bring up to 25 items at a time when you donate.
Please attach a note to your bag of items with the name of the non-profit you're supporting.
All items must be in perfect, like-new condition - Raspberry Beret does not accept/carry anything with missing buttons, holes, stains, pulls, etc.
Raspberry Beret is unable to accept/carry low-end labels such as Forever 21, Old Navy, Target brands, Wet Seal, and Charlotte Russe.
Items should be seasonal.
Paper shopping bags are perfect for dropping your Consign for a Cause donations! We ask that you please refrain from bringing your items in garbage bags.
Opening a non-profit consignment account is easy! All we need is a point person from the organization to complete our Non-Profit Consignment Contract which can be found for Cambridge HERE, Maynard HERE and Reading HERE.
Raspberry Beret will provide customized images and text for each non-profit to use on their social media outlets to help spread the word that people can start consigning to benefit thier cause. We also invite organizations to host an optional two hour shopping party in the store as a way to kick off their fundraising. An extra 20% of all purchases made during the party will be donated to the non-profit.
